We arrived early for our reservation but they sat us right away. They offer early seating from 4 to 530 with a discounted menu. The lobster bisque was exquisite and crab cakes delicious. The only bad thing about it was our server was a bit rude. My father couldn't make up his mind about what to order, asking my mother and I told him to ask the waiter what he recommends. The waiter kind of rolled his eyes and said "oh my god!" Like we were taking up precious time for him. Did not appreciate that. Otherwise great food.

Wonderful place! Everyone loved their food and the fun atmosphere. The management was very accommodating when our reservation was written down....and we had a party of 9!!! Great customer service! We'll definitely go back! Oh and save room for dessert!

The lobster was so so so good. We had a seat outside on Christmas and the waitress was so gracious even when working on a holiday. We had lobster scargot which was wonderful. Everything was just perfect!
Went to Lazy Lobster Sunday night with my wife, daughter and her fiancé, Rich. Had reservations and we were seated immediately. Server was pleasant and attentive. Ordered a few appetizers to share, calamari & chowder, both delicious. Had cocktails and bread with them. We ordered seafood and meat (ribs) and all were cooked perfectly and enjoyed by all. Too full for desert but ended up with a double scoop at Tyler's, next door. Great night out with family.

The food is always exceptional.. Sometimes I am dining alone and the Lazy Lobster is a restaurant that a lady can walk into, sit at the bar have a drink and entree and feel perfectly comfortable and safe. Someone always talks to me and the wait staff are kind and friendly. Romantic evenings I sit outside under the stairs the warm Longboat key nights, a glass of wine and a sumptuous dinner..This is truly a place you must visit.
Thank you for the Veterans Day special! It was such a treat!
