We had NO reservations but it was a Monday night end of October..snowbirds hadn't arrived yet..Lobster bisque is wonderful! Old Fashioneds were right on! Service was excellent, ambience was warm, romantic. I highly recommend this as a great dinner out on Longboat Key.
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!! We did some studying and this was reported to be the #1 place in LBK, and if it isn’t, I’ll challenge you to show me better!! The only downside is that the lobster bisque was just average. Calamari was fresh, not frozen (restaurant GM stopped by our table & told us what made the difference) and you must get the creole mustard with it. The lobster escargot dish? This is our favorite restaurant on Longboat Key. Very friendly folks, delicious seafood and early bird specials! The lobster is fantastic, best lobster bisque ever!
