This place looks great and seemed to be a hot spot for locals and tourists alike. But after eating at the restaurant, both of us at the table got food poisoning and got sick from a shared appetizer of conch ceviche about 6-8 hours afterwards. It wasn't an alcohol based sickness either and it was the only food we had both shared all day. It ruined our last night of vacation as we were up all night sick and then had to drive 5 hours home still sick and stopping every 30 minutes. Husband and I both agreed that after numerous broiled seafood platters throughout the years, this was our best ever. That is saying something, as we're not young folk and have traveled quite a bit. We are even raving about our salads, and the tomato/basil vinegarette dressing was to die for

Great place to spend some time with family and/or your significant other...Food Quality us good, service is excellent and the best of all is THE VIEW! Ooh I almost forgot: Cocktails are the BEST.
We had a lovely table on the beach at sunset. The food was very good, and the staff was excellent. They worked very hard to accommodate our group of 11 without a reservation, and they did it! Thanks for a great evening.
Food was good but service was terrible. A party of six and we were there for 2 1/2 hours.

I highly recommend Lazy Days in Islamorada, they got AC or right on the beach tables, good service, large menu and reasonable prices, not to mention plenty of parking..............go for it!...............
We brought our catch to be cooked. The Lazy Days way was by far the best Mahi!
