Don't park here! My mom and I went to the beyond van gogh exhibit. We parked in a separate area right in front of the exhibit and we're told by the staff that the parking here was included with the ticket. Got a bill from the parking company for $90 that came straight from a collections agency with a threat of legal action. I'm assuming the exhibit and the parking company are in cahoots. Bunch of liars!
Not that this place needs another one star review. 2 hr parking for $18 is insane for morning time without any major event. The amount of disregard for working class people is insane in Austin, TX. Horrible despicable and demented. In addition all the reviews about violation fines make me sick to my stomach. Yes and I also got the $102 notice of non compliance for being 2 minutes late.
Do NOT park at this location. We paid for two hours, but bats were "a bit late" and we were about 20 minutes late getting back to the car (one of about 5 cars remaining in the lot). They charged a $102 dollar fine for the extra 20 minutes. When I disputed the charge, they provided me with a $20 discount on the fine. $82 for the extra 20 minutes - on top of the outrageous amount for the two hours. Do park here. We paid for an hour ($13) but did not pay for the couple of minutes it took us to PAY the parking, and they sent us a violation for $102.
