I always used to park here when I was attending DePaul about 10 years ago, never had any issues. Now something has changed. Came to visit downtown on Sunday and got stuck with my husband and his mom for 45 minutes - the machine wasn't accepting any of my credit cards (tried 3), none of my husbands nor him mom's. It kept giving error code for every card. We had no cash. We were stuck in the parking lot for 45 minutes post bears game along with 30 plus other cars. Employees took 25 plus minutes to even come to “try” to get us out. Then no apology or refund.
I reserved my spot online and when I went to leave, the machine said it had already been used. I called for assistance and the person was very rude, insisting that I must have already used it and hung up with me still unable to exit. I bought another pass, just trying to get out, but it didn't work either because it said I never entered. I called for help again, and 45 minutes later, I was finally let out of the garage.
Stay away! We paid ahead of time but the bar code reader didn’t work. We wound up having to pay again and even then the credit card processor glitched. What a disaster!
