Follow up review to the review left by my wife. The member of IHC that called her to "follow up" spent the entire call attempting to gaslight and tell her she had no idea what she was talking about because she wasn't there. Well, I was there, and very much awake and talking to the post-op room nurses when they found out that my meds were being dumped onto the bed. Where do I even begin? I give a one star only because I have to but also because the nursing staff genuinely seemed to care so they get some credit. My husband had surgery here for a deviated septum and the entire experience was an actual nightmare. They were about an hour and a half behind on starting my husbands surgery and gave us no notice. I would like to leave a review of the staff of this surgical center. 2 names really stuck out and I'm horrible with names. This is not to say the rest of the staff and the anesthesiologist that helped with my surgery and the nurse in the operating room aren't great, because they are amazing. They were absolutely wonderful! They made me feel safe and are very skilled individuals. The 2 nurses that I remember are Leslie and Erin. These ladies are an asset to this surgical center. I had a procedure today at Layton Surgical Center and thought everyone was wonderful! From check in to discharge, everyone was so kind and put me at great ease. I loved Bree, Colette, McKenzi, my OR nurse (I wish I remembered your name) and my phone check-in nurse (I’m sorry I didn’t remember your name). These ladies deserve beyond 5 stars. Thanks for making a stressful experience a lot more pleasant! You truly make a difference!
My experience was very positive. The staff was awesome! The facility was very nice. If I ever have another need for a surgical center. This is where I would go. Great job!
