Always have to wait 45 minutes to over an hour for appointments and is very haughty and smug.
Excellent doctor. I was treated for prostate cancer (prostatectomy in 2016) and received very good consultation in the decision making process leading up to the surgery and that continued with the after care. Surgery results are beyond expectation. Compassionate and very skilled surgeon.
I usually never do these reviews but i had to this time...Dr. Long upon first meeting him made me very upset preceded to question my ability to understand what i was being told....he kept asking me 6x at least im not incompetent nor dumb i understand everything he is saying it was just a frightening situation to find out one may have cancer so yeah i got upset. Upon first meeting Dr.Long, he walked in the room and didn't even look at me. After several awkward minutes, he looked at me and said, "Do you know who I am?" This was my very first surgery being alone and this frightened me. He wasn't in a doctor's coat either, just regular clothes. He was very rude to me following and told me there were several things I should be ashamed of in my life. I chose Dr Long to remove my cancerous prostate over 9 years ago. His extensive experience using the Da Vinci robot (350+) at the time made him the logical chose. He is a very personable and likeable person.
I've been under his care for several years, for enlarged prostate and particularly for bladder cancer in the past two.
Follow up to testing took over a month to schedule. Meantime, my elderly father suffered from having to get up repeatedly during the night. Considering he has mobility issues and falls frequently, Dr. Long refused to provide alternative treatment during the month.
Dr. Long is a great doctor! It is so amazing, to have such a competent & sincere specialist!
Dr. L is without any doubt the finest surgeon I have known. He knows his business but has perfected the art of medicine to a lofty height beyond his peers. He performed a superb Da Vinci Radical Prostatectomy to remove a Grade 7 cancer. After surgery I experienced no pain whatsoever! You won't find a better surgeon than Dr. L anywhere on this planet.
