Fired me as I was laying on the table with a paper gown on and a breast exposed. This was after he told me that we needed to have a “come to Jesus meeting “! I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to him! I have been to Dr. Fielder's office several times. I am impressed with his professionalism and his competence. He has a very good bedside manner, and I would highly recommend him and his staff.
Dr. Fielder is very professional. My First visit with him was simply outstanding. He was able to help me understand a large part of my medical problem as he explained my situation to my wife and me very throughly. My first visit to Dr. Fielder was a second opinion regarding another dermatologist who wanted to remove certain spots on my back. Every visit ended in something being removed. Dr Fielder requested my records and called me on a Sunday to tell me the first removal was necessary but the following three were not. That was three years ago and once again he came to my aid. I had a lump in my arm, lipoma, and he squeezed me in before a trip I had to go on and removed it. Dr Fielder always goes above and beyond.
As a 66-year old senior and life-long "sun worshiper", I was referred to Dr. Layne Fielder for a 4 June 2020 "skin cancer check". He removed (cut out) and resolved (burned off) some half dozen potential "problem spots". These were the quickest and least uncomfortable medical procedures I have ever experienced. My husband was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of melanoma. Dr. Fielder has gone above and beyond to make sure that my husband is getting the very best treatment available! He called us around 8 PM on a weeknight to give us the bad news. This tells me that he works late at night to make sure his patients get the best care possible. I think Dr. Fielder is great. I have only seen him twice now and have dealt with the same condition for years. He is agressive about my treatment (which is much appreciated) and has very clear direction about my treatment plan with a straight forward approach. Thanks!
