Great to find an old fashion machine shop. Need an intake manifold modified and they understand what needs to be done. They have a great turnaround time.
If I could give them more I would. I have know Boby for 5+ years now and he always is friendly, knowledgeable and above professional. All the things I have ask him to build for my babies (my euro inspired Ford products) have exceeded what I designed them to be. Right now he is working on modying Ford Mustang S97 front breaks discs to be used on a Massive Engineering kit. The difference is that the Massive kit uses bigger discs requiring bigger wheels and I am using a disc an inch smaller so I can fit somewhat smaller wheels ... read more

Awesome machine shop. They're quick and great at what they do. Highly recommend.
Quick turnaround of project (and reasonable cost); was the ONLY one of several machine shops in the KC area willing to/knowledgeable enough to take on my task. Was turned away by 5 or 6 before I was referred to Layne's. Long time business and they clearly know what they are doing, and a small mom and pop shop feel which is always rewarding. Will be taking any future machining/welding projects their way in the future.
