Parked my vehicle and just tried to walk to the public curb to wait for my friends to arrive and was immediately catcalled by someone inside the restaurant asking if I was dining there. Just not a friendly way to treat a patron by questioning whether or not they can read the very apparent signage in front of their car by shouting at them from inside of a building. Decided to change our lunch plans to old southern bbq next door and had an amazing time!
The best food and the BEST fries we have ever had. Great decor, great patio and parking!
Awesome restaurant with great food. While their whole menu and drink selection is good, breakfast/brunch is my favorite meal here. They have a great combination of indoor and out door seating. It’s also located on the Main Street in excelsior with lots of local shops, the lake, and the commons park all within walking distance. The regional bike trail runs right by there as well making it a great destination or place for a quick stop.
We were excited to try Layline, but unfortunately it missed the mark for us. After being seated, we waited quite a while before anyone stopped by, so when our server finally arrived, we placed our full order. The pacing of the meal felt surprisingly rushed for a restaurant at this price point. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees arrived nearly all at once.
