Excellent Animal Hospital We have been using Layhill Animal Hospital for almost twenty-nine years, and we have always been happy with the care our pets have received. Dr. Adelman is extremely thorough and very caring. We've always been treated with the utmost respect from the entire staff.
Vet (Owner) feels it is okay to yell at a woman My coworker dropped off her dog to be fixed and was quoted one price. Later they call and tell her they are adding all these charges and that the price she was quoted wasn't correct it would be another 100 dollars plus these added charges. When she asked to speak to the vet she got the run around about how it was his day off and he would call her tomorrow but then they would need to board the dog and that would be even MORE money. Below average. I have been taking our pets there for years but I have to tell you that this doctor has no personality. It's like he had a lobotomy. He really belongs in research or an area where he doesn't have to try to interact with people. He's not much better with pets. It's convenient location is the only reason we use him.
RecommendedThey are all very professional. And treat my sweet Bough our male cat oh so wonderful. They calm him when he’s so nervous and scared. We have been taking all of our animals to Layhill Animal Hospital for over 15 years. Love them and would highly recommend them🥰

I’ve been seeing Dr. Adelman for over 25 years. He has always been so kind and approachable as well as knowledgeable. His staff is always great too! He saved one of my dogs too. Bad spleen. Gave her almost four more good years! She would have been dead if he hadn’t suspected it. He helped me recently with my newest family member. I’ll be moving next year and trying to establish a relationship with a vet where I’m moving. It hasn’t gone so well, as Milo is not a good patient. I called him and he took care of him- no issues. I worked for Dr. Adelman years ago and when I found myself back in the area, I thought of no one else I'd rather have take care of my dogs and cat. Not only is he and his staff incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, Dr. A will always take the time to explain everything to you. This is a practice that truly cares for animals and their owners.

Dr. Adelman saved my dog’s life!! She was having crazy symptoms that were ignored by her former vets. When we took her to Layhill Animal Hospital, Dr. Adelman gave her a thorough exam and immediately treated her. In one week, she came back 110%.
