The siding on our house was peeling badly on the south and west sides where it gets the most sun. Two spots had bare wood showing through and I was worried about water getting in. Called LayerM after a friend recommended them. The estimator who came out actually climbed up and checked the wood underneath the paint instead of just eyeballing it from the ground. got a few quotes for the exterior and LayerM was middle of the pack on price but the estimator actually walked the whole house with me, pointed out a couple spots where the siding needed minor repair before paint, and explained why some areas would need an extra coat. that conversation alone is why i picked them. crew showed up on time the morning we agreed on. they pressure washed first, let it dry, taped off all the windows and lights, and covered the landscaping with drop cloths. painting itself took about four days. the ... read more
The south side of our house had this ongoing issue where the paint kept bubbling and cracking every couple years right above the foundation line. We had it repainted twice before by different people and it always came back, so I kind of assumed it was just a moisture thing we'd be dealing with forever. Painted all the exterior trim and fascia boards. Looks way better now. Crew was friendly and they were done in 2 days. Fair price for sure.
layerm did a really good job on the outside. paint looks even and fresh. a small spot near the door needed a touch up but they fixed it without problem
