great wave pool for swimming. the swim instructor my child has is wonderful as well
The pool change rooms could be cleaned more frequently during peak times, but otherwise the civic centre is clean, safe, and welcoming. I go frequently and the process to get in is always quick and painless. It can get very busy on the weekends during public swim and you will usually need to register ahead of time for the aquasize classes during the week. Parking can be tricky because of the soccer centre next door, especially during winter when the lot is full of snow.
Looked great from the outside but was overcrowded and we couldn't find parking on a Saturday afternoon. No joy for the out of towners unfortunately.
I have been a regular visitor to this facility and have often received professional and polite service, particularly from newer staff such as Jace. However, during my visit on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11:30 AM, I experienced unprofessional behavior from a long-term female front desk staff member. I had forgotten my leisure card and provided ID as requested. The staff member then insisted on taking a photo of me, refused to give her name, and denied my request to speak with a manager. Nice kids leisure pool with wave pool! Too bad design has no longer safe diving boards Better rec pool for 5 to 12 year old crowd than Shaw... but would be nice if Saskatoon could do proper lap pool and leisure pool (like Regina SSLC) x 2 or 3 locations (Stonebridge too?). Don't make another monster Shaw in Brighton. Doesn't meet most of community needs and too big and expensive
