Get a second opinion. I was thrilled to find a dentist so close to my home in Babylon that was able to get me in when I needed an emergency filling. I found Dr. Kaplan extremely confident. Possibly too confident. He gave me a treatment plan for thousands of dollars saying I needed to redo work that was recently done. Very impressed I've never had a problem getting a quick appointment, and the dental work is very good. I've been to a number of dentists over the years, and I am always impressed with the efficiency of the office, the quality of the work, and the reasonable pricing. The office staff is friendly (they remember your name, even when they haven't seen you in a while), they don't over-book and keep you waiting, and they actually listen to what you have to say. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Dr. Kaplan Does the Job Dr. Lawrence Kaplan is conveniently located on Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst Village. He is actually a second generation dentist and our family starting treating with his father. Dr. Larry took over the practice over twenty-five years ago and is not quite as good as his father was, who was truly an outstanding dentist.
