Below is the review I left this doctor 5 years ago...2 years ago I went to see Dr Marcus Ford at Campbell Clinic...I now have a new PERFECT knee that can bend 145 degrees and hyperextend at -5...so thankful!!I went to Dr. Schrader, self pay paying 375.00, for knee pain and swelling and because I couldn't straighten my knee completely. I had partial knee surgery on both knees.It's been many years now, He is very informative, thorough, kind & someone who cares about me as a patient.
Dr. Schrader listened to me & performed a thorough exam, then explained/demonstrated exactly what was going on with my shoulder & arm, after X-rays confirmed & then treated my source of pain. Then he gave me detailed rehab exercises to rehabilitate my shoulder. Dr. Schrader is an extraordinary doctor with elite education, training & background as a physician, surgeon & athlete himself. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. SCHRADER & his staff.
I had a partial knee replacement in Dec. Prior to scheduling this I had a dental cleaning scheduled the day before thanksgiving. I canceled it and thought I would get it done while I was off for recovery. No one told me I would have to wait 4-6 months to get my teeth cleaned. So 6 months later I scheduled my dental cleaning with a new dentist. Dr. Schrader and his team took care of a bill that had been sent to my house notifying that they were not in network with my insurance company. They apologized to me after realizing that they had confirmed to me otherwise before being diagnosed and I did not have to pay anything. I believe that this is the best way to run a practice as patients are more likely to refer other patients. Dr. Schrader is an elite doctor (read about his accomplishments and you'll see).
I am very pleased with the 2 partial knee replacements he did for me. My recovery time was minimal.
Very satisfied with my knee replacement.
I would never recommend Dr. Schrader to anyone. He did a knee surgery for my grandfather and ended up having to do another one because the knee was infected. Now the knee is infected again and he is refusing to do another one calling it an unfortunate circumstance. In the meantime my grandfather is sitting in the hospital unable to walk and no one else will touch him after Dr. Schrader operated on him.
