Excellent orthopedic doctor! He has done two knee replacements (2013, 2015) and a hip replacement in 2017 for me. If I hadn't had them, I know I would be using a walker at the very least--I probably would be in a wheelchair. Thank you, thank you to Dr. Housman and his expertise!
If you’d like to have a clear discussion about your medical condition this is going to be the doctor for you. Housman will offer you well informed input, but is also willing to incorporate you into the discussion (in terms of condition, treatment, etc.). So he will professionally analyze your joint himself but also listen to your responses or questions; a social aspect of being a doctor was covered.
His Medical Assistant was rude and didn't take or return calls. Because I complained about this to her alone, she put a medical code on my record that signified "hemorrhoid" meaning "this patient is a pain in the rear". This is extremely unethical. I was very sorry I used him as a surgeon because my surgery was NOT a success. .
My experience with Dr Housman and his staff at Tucson Orthopedics has been amazing! I had a total knee replacement on December 8, 2015. I am doing great and any questions I might have are answered by the end of the day via email. Dr Housman is an excellent surgeon (that's why I am doing so well). He visited every morning while I was in the hospital and he took his time to answer any questions. I highly recommend Dr Housman and his fantastic staff!

Excellent surgeon. Did my Birmingham Hip Resurfacing with excellent results. A true mench(means good human being) with a great bedside manner. Does knees and hips at the Tucson Orthapedic Institute. You can't go wrong here.
