My wife was treated at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for severe abdominal pain and bleeding caused by fibroid complications within the uterus. A prescription for pain medication was sent to CVS in Waterford, CT. When we arrived the pharmacist said that the prescription would not be ready for at least another 45 minutes. When I return around 6:30 I was surprised to find that the pharmacy was closed. I called the Emergency Room to have the prescription transferred to the 24hr CVS in Groton.
