Some wonderful CNA’s. I don’t remember their names but one is CJ. And one of the night CNA gave me encouraging words about what to expect. The therapy workers are excellent. The management staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
On July 1st of this year, I had open heart surgery. My incision subsequently became infected. After another week in the hospital I was moved for rehab. I spent 5 weeks at this facility receiving IV antibiotics. The nurses and CNA's are top notch. I did not meet anyone there that was not pleasant, personable, and knowledgeable. My mother passed away from the neglectful care she received there. There was a snafu with insurance coverage and they left her in bed for 12 days with no physical therapy or being moved to a chair. It was all about money! She received minimal care, and, since she had suffered a massive stroke, she couldn’t tell us about her treatment or lack of. Very caring and listens to concerns.
My mother was a patient at Lawrence Street Skilled Nursing Center for a few weeks prior to her passing on March 31st, and unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing and concerning. From the moment she arrived, the environment felt neglected. Her room was dreary, with no artwork or any attempt to create a comforting or uplifting space.
