I visited Dr. Lawrence Wong intending to establish care with a primary care physician, but the experience was disappointing. My concerns were not meaningfully addressed, and the interaction felt overly cautious and administrative rather than focused on patient care. Been seeing Dr Wong for 2 years and he’s great. I never feel he’s rushing me, I ask a lot of questions and he is always willing to explain as much as needed until I feel comfortable. He’s also kind of Doctor who takes the patients feedback and lifestyle into consideration, which many doctors don’t really take the time to do. You can tell he enjoys medicine and science in the way he answers my questions. Very positive, humorous, yet thorough demeanor. The office staff are amazing too. My visits have always went great
Worst offices experiences I’ve ever had since Optum acquired it. Had Dr. Wong until recently as primary doctor for decades but refuse to go back with obnoxious unskilled Optum staff.
Dr. Wong was my doctor for 10 years. Ever since his practice was acquired by Optum, they have become the worst office I have ever been to. Dr. Wong himself is fine. The employees don't know how to use their new software "Epic". The wait time can be months. If you don't plan being sick in advance they will just tell you to go to Urgent Care. Optum sends you bills that were not disclosed in the office. Every time I leave I have to corner one of the frost desk people and make them check 3 times to make sure I don't owe any more... read more
