I had the best possible care here. The environment is calm. Everyone works like a big family. From prior experience elsewhere, the staff members talks n treats you like you matter. Not conceited or act "better than" Your bedroom stays open. You can lay and rest anytime you need to. Comfortable temperature NOT ice cold. Meals have at least 5 different options with plenty of snacks. The best decision ever to come here. I recommend Lawnwood Pavilion to EVERYONE whether for yourself or loved one. My son G.A. was transferred from HCA hospital and I was so sad/worried. The staff were always available to speak to me and very polite. He was discharged today and he said " Mom they were cool, food was good, it was all good. " Thank you to Josh, Jacob, Dawn, Musline, Dr Nalyiath, Pastor Riley, and the entire staff. Psych doctor abused his power and sedated me on anti psychotics when I wasn’t acting out and purposely diagnosed me with “psychotic disorder” also the food was nasty and stale
These people almost killed me and if it wasn't for my mother coming to visit me and seeing me hallucinating and overdosing, passing out at the table with her, they probably would have just let me overdose and die. they put me on a medication that intensified another medication that I take already, and for days I walked around hallucinating passing out doing very strange things in my sleep completely scaring all of the other patients and all they did was tell me Ashley youre just seeing things, go to bed.
