I was sent to Lawnwood Hospital for testing, I was there for over 24 hours with nothing to eat or drink because my chart said nothing by mouth, I saw one doctor who never introduced herself, just asked if I had any questions for her, I had no idea who she was. I had started no prep for the testing, however at 7:00 pm the specialist came in never introduced himself and said you need this, this , and that done, so I asked if this was an emergency or could it wait until I came home to NH to my own PCP he said "I don't care what... read more
Worst hospital experience. Totally disorganized. Some very nive staff but chaos. Did not do several things promised Send home with a brace with pain meds with referral to visiting nurses non of this happened. Never agaim
As a Hospital I really like this Hospital they have treated my family and myself with excellent care. However, I was in the emergency room 3 weeks ago and I filed a complaint with corporate got a case number with no call back. Also tried to file a complaint with the Charge nurse left 5 messages with no return call. I was in a room and a patient came in that was bi-polar she had 2 different personalities. Terrible service and care. I’m on my 3rd several day stay in a two months time frame. I’m on day 11 for this go around. If you press the call button it can take up to a hour for anyone to show up. It can take hours to get your nurse to show up to give you meds. I have to come here for one of the best vascular surgeons around. He is amazing and has saved my life a couple times. My first visit I was on a pain pump after surgery. They told my wife and I they were moving me to another room. When we got there they told us I coul... read more
Very disappointed in this hospital. The rooms are still 2 patients to a room, visitors are using the patient's bathrooms. The rooms are filthy and very dingy. The staff is trying their best, they are very understaffed, I am hearing they do not treat their staff well, so this might be why they can't get employees. I want to know, would the board of directors that sit on the board would they stay in these hospital rooms?
