I had the car in for an oil change and when I got it back Lawleys said there were oil and transmission fluid leaks among a few other needed repairs to the tune of $1446.00. There are NO spots on my driveway so I took the car for a second opinion - no leaks! The second guy said the only problem was that the oil pan and differential needed tightening. The second guy said that Lawleys had also put the wrong rotors on the brakes (an earlier visit o Lawleys).
These techs just check the checklists off an never check the stuff in the vehicle.. check to see if your bolts are all put back on especially if its warranty work. The mechanics are trying to save as much time as they can at your expense. I have felt it at this dealership already. Any hard to access item be very wary. and confirm that they really did get the job done. Trust them but verify everything.. I mean everything too. ..
