As someone who has many lawyers on retainer personally and professionally- I was very pleased in my experience with her when I called to reach out for legal advice! Contrary to negative feedback, I found her to be of incredible value, effort, and knowledge. She went above and beyond for me and I 100% endorse her.
Sue is awesome, she has excellent contacts and relationships in the courtroom. She worked hard and was able to get me off probation 4 years early, even though my p.o. gave a negative recommendation to the judge. Her rates are competitive as well. All around A+
DO NOT call for a consultation, Sue Berkal answered her phone with frustration and as I continued to explain my situation she "huffed and puffed" very unprofessionally and proceeded to tell me it would be very expensive to hire her to take care of my situation and she told me to just go and pay the fines for my situation myself. She gave no other advice and was very rude without even getting an explanation of my full situation. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING SUE BERKEL.
