I have tried over several months to make peace with the decisions that Gillian made in a best interest case for my daughter, but it has been very very difficult. I have never witnessed such an egregious disregard for a child's wellbeing from someone whose job is supposedly to protect that child's best interests. Proceed with extreme caution. As much as it is within your power to do so, have a different GAL appointed to your case, especially if you have concerns of abuse happening in the other home. The insistence to prioritize the narrative of parental alienation rather than actually taking into account violent criminal backgrounds and ongoing allegations made by the child to multiple parties leaves a child at risk and makes this woman culpable should anything ever happen in the future.
