Scott is a great attorney! He was very knowledgeable in state law and prepared a great case for us. He took time to listen, and was empathetic and an absolute advocate for our children and for us. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone seeking legal council.
While Scott might be a decent trial lawyer, he demonstrated nothing but lousy business skills to me because he never once returned any of my calls without me bothering him multiple times leaving voicemail when able (often his mailbox would be full and no way to leave a voice message), txt messages, e-mails, and it even took a complaint to the Oregon State Bar Association for him to return my phone calls and make initial contact with me when he was initially assigned as my public defender. Scott has provided excellent service for us on two occasions, one for easement dispute for our business property and another for immigration interview waiver. The easement issue was a difficult case; the other party gave us attorney notification to withdraw us from the easement agreement.
