I was not lucky enough to get Marla as my attorney. From the very beginning I felt like I was just another client. Everything felt very rushed and last minute and totally impersonal. Many times I had to correct the lawyer on information I had already given her. When we went to court, the judge seemed to dislike my attorney a great deal. I don't know if they had a past or if it was something she said. I paid a fortune in fees and wound up getting literally nothing out of the ruling. Waste of time and money.
Marla took on our adoption case that wasn’t necessary an easy one. We had a child come into our home that was no relationship to us. She came from a terrible home life, and we wanted to give this little girl the life she deserves. It was a long contested adoption. However, through Marla’s hard work and never give up attitude she not only made the process easier for us but she also won! We were blessed to adopt our little girl Aug 20, 2018, almost 2 years to the day we got her!
