I got knocked over on my bicycle by a truck stopped for a red light as I crossed in the intersection in front of him. I’m a Ironman triathlete, I have been hit by two motor vehicle in the last 10 years. Both time Clay represented me. In 2013 a driver ran a stop sign and struck me broadside, in 2020 a driver crossed the center line and turned left into me. Insurance companies are the worst!! In both cases Clay got me the maximum amount the driver was insured for! I He is very good at what he does and at this point I consider him a friend!
Clay Griessmeyer is a great attorney who really has his client’s best interest in mind and is a strong advocate for his clients. He represented us in a jury trial and really impressed us with his attention to detail and effectiveness in the courtroom. He put a human face on our case and did a great job helping the jury better understand the circumstances of our case.
October 20, 2010 while riding my road bike I was T-boned by an un-insured motorcyclist. My insurance company, a major player in Wisconsin policies, made me an offer that would not even cover the cost of my bike! At eighty years old I encountered my first court case. Clayton Griessmeyer was kind and respectful to me during the two-day trial. He was firm when he needed to be, i.e. explaining to me to take this seriously and look at the jury rather than the lawyers or judge. He patiently walked me through every step and was extremely professional in dealing with the jury. We won the case, and I received a settlement!
