We made an urgent appt for a kidney stone for my husband, they made the appt, updated insurance with us and we showed up for the appt and then were told we need a referral and could take 2-3 weeks to get it. Communication is key and there was none. We understand if you have an HMO plan you need a referral but we don’t have an HMO plan so we should’ve been told.
