RecommendedI can always get an appointment when it's urgent. Dr Lavoie is excellent. I've had teeth pulled and never felt a thing. He's great at what he does.
I will never go back to this dentist. I am 36 weeks pregnant with terrible tooth pain, and he refused to treat it because he said that "I missed the boat" on treatment and it was too late in pregnancy to treat me. While he read my X-ray, I was lying in the chair waiting for over 20 minutes listening to him tell his friend about his upcoming trip to Paris. He was very self absorbed and had no compassion. Didn't wear a mask when he was working on my mouth. No patient privacy either.
This was my 1st visit and last visit Dr Lavoie was really rude no privacy and i just felt like he didnt want my business.I wasnt please with Lavoie and as a professional dentist he needs to respect patient privacy by closing door and stop being rude because he needs the community to help him stay in business
Dr Lavoie has been amazing. Full of knowledge, that's wonderful care of every patient, doesn't rush, and does the best I have ever seen. He knew tricks to making the procedures as painless as possible! I have seen many dentists and I will be more than happy to stay with Dr. Lavoie!

I have a family of 4 that have all visited Dr. Lavoie. He was never present for any of the 4 appointments scheduled for my Family and when calling to dispute the billing he hung up on us. The office staff and Dr. Lavoie are as rude and unprofessional as I have seen in the medical field. We also had an emergency on a Saturday morning with one of our small children (playset injury to the teeth/gums). We left a message on the after-hours machine and received a call back Monday at 11am.
I would not recommend this dentist. Very poor attitude. Staff was unpleasant.
Avoid this dentist!! Beside the fact that he never even examined my 9 year old, he said she had three cavities just by looking at xrays and then said he wouldn't fill them because she was too difficult. I took her to another dentist where they took state of the art digital xrays and found out SHE HAD NO CAVITIES. I will be reporting this dentist to the ADA and the Maryland state licensing board.
