This is my favorite Italian place in San Diego I absolutely love it
AVOID this place. Hostess was unwelcoming, and rude, not at all suitable for hospitality environment. Food is overpriced and average. Ambience too loud for fine dining. Definitely a tourist trap.
Everything was fine but the food wasn’t really good. We had a gluten free margarita and 2 normal „angry Maria“. The gluten free dough tasted pretty sweet and was not very crunchy and the cheese to dough ratio was not very well balanced. The angry Maria’s we’re way too oily probably because of the pesto that was on top. My pinsa/pizza was soaked from the bottom and shined from all the oil. Terrible place, do not come close. The food is horrible and expensive, not worth half of the price. The staff are rude and keep making mistakes
LOVEEEE this place!!! Best Italian food. I came here for my birthday dinner and the whole experience was great. The dinner, the dessert, and the drinks. I would go once at least once a week if I could. It is on 5th Ave so parking is a little annoying, but the food is worth the struggle. I feel the aesthetic of the restaurant fits UTC more than downtown. They also have a location in Vegas! It is best to make a reservation, otherwise it may be booked for the night and you’ll have to be seated at the bar.
