I’ve been living in Lavita for the past 2 years and would highly recommend this to students or anyone who’s looking for studios in the U district. I always feel safe since most of the tenants are students. It’s pretty affordable and some of the units have pretty nice views! Overall the apartment is pretty clean, safe, and well-maintained. I like that there’re 2 sets of laundry on each floor, it makes doing laundry much less of a pain. Anson is super nice and responsive too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this apartment. Excellent landlord, very fair rent, newer (and safe/secure) building -- everything I was looking for my senior year at UW. Genuinely wish I would've stayed here my entire time in college!
Lived here for only a year but had a great experience nonetheless. The landlord Anson, was extremely nice and helpful when repairs needed to be made. The rent was also pretty cheap (~900$s) for a studio apartment compared to the surrounding neighborhood. Most studios come with a full kitchen and a choice between a balcony or a walk-in closet.
