I have lived here for a year and a half, and it's been a pleasant experience! The room is very quiet, and the location is perfect for commuting to UW or downtown. The studio comes with a full kitchen and bathroom at a price much more affordable than the rest of the neighborhood. My room also has 2 huge windows, so there's a ton of sunlight for the day.

DONT LIVE HERE Only good side is the cheap price yet they increase it each year. Cleanliness is very poor, the stairways are never cleaned. In my 2 year stay here the stairs and hallways were always covered in dust and hair. Additionally landlords are rude and poor at their jobs. I was asked to move into a unit from a previous apartment because they “accidentally” leased the one I was living in to a tenant wanting to move into earlier. I’ve been living in Lavita for the past 2 years and would highly recommend this to students or anyone who’s looking for studios in the U district. I always feel safe since most of the tenants are students. It’s pretty affordable and some of the units have pretty nice views! Overall the apartment is pretty clean, safe, and well-maintained. I like that there’re 2 sets of laundry on each floor, it makes doing laundry much less of a pain. Anson is super nice and responsive too!
