This man was court appointed, charged a fortune, and didn't pay any regard to other therapists involved with the children. He is out for money, and it is sad that any courts recommend him.
Many years ago Dr. Lavit was appointed by the court to deal with parenting issues between me and my ex-wife. To make a long story short, I had brought up some issues about the way the kid’s step-father treated my daughter. I thought the step-dad’s actions were inappropriate and raised huge red flags for me as a father.
