I had a disappointing experience at the Brighton location to the point where I will be telling other people to avoid this place. My boyfriend had his appointment cancelled 4 hours prior. This was really disappointing as he needs to plan for things like this ahead of time. The staff didn't offer to do anything in return to make up for it. They told him "you can rescedule at no cost" like that was going to make up for that. It shouldn't be up to him to resolve the issue by rescheduling. The ladies at the 5 mile store were absolutely great. I felt bad for them when we found out our wedding gift cards of $100 each(200.00) were not good anymore. Our good friends bought them in Brighton, but we were told the cards were emptied due to some stores changing to Head and Stone. So friends lost $200 and we ended up paying $160 + tip.

The Frederick, Maryland location was closed without notice. I had a prepaid membership. I called corporate and they redirected me to Jennifer Feeney, the franchise owner. Jennifer promised I would receive compensation for my membership via a check in the mail within 60 days. We are nearing the 120 day mark and no check. Jennifer no longer responds to emails and I bet I will NEVER get my refund. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous.

Very pleased with the service and cleanliness of the LaVida Massage Centers. They are dedicated to finding top-quality staff and many locations offer more than just massage. I’ll continue to use them.

This company loves to sell you a membership. However, when you can no longer use the membership--saying "goodbye" is not pretty. I have received bills long after my membership has been canceled. The bills are credited, everyone is sweet and then the bills start up again a year later. I had to cancel my entire credit card in order to stop the fraudulent charges on my account that might have gone unnoticed during such a stressful time.
