When I go there I go to the strongest therapist, Laura. Hands are smoothe like stone but applies heavy pressure. Im familiar with other therapist there as well - they have just about anyone for your pain tolerance.

I rarely leave reviews, but what I went through at La Vida Spa was so appalling that I feel people deserve to know before wasting their money here. Back in August, I went for a massage that had been given to me as a gift — and it turned out to be one of the worst spa experiences I’ve ever had. The place was filthy from the moment I walked in. I woke up sick on the day of my appointment and called to cancel it. The receptionist gave me a lecture about it being a courtesy cancellation and the next time I'd be charged for the appointment regardless of whether I'm sick or not. When I said I would come in, she said we don't want you to come in sick. What do they expect you to do if you're sick? You literally can't predict when you will get sick. And do you need added stress from them when you're sick? (And I have a membership there so it's not like they'renot already ... read more
