The cupcakes were good but the store was sweeter! I loved the building and the decor it was super chic!
I have tried a lot of the cupcake places over the years in the DC area, but NOTHING compares to this hidden gem. The flavors are so unique, and everything is always very fresh. I completely understand why they close early if they run out. Just call and make sure their open, they'll give you a rundown of the flavors they still have.
Being new to the area, I was very excited to stop by to try the fabulous sounding cupcakes. I told my daughter that I was treating her to a surprise. We parked a block away and arrived 30 minutes before their stated 8pm closing time. Despite a sign on the door stating that they closed at 8, the lights were off and the doors were locked at 7:30pm. All of the day's cupcake flavors were posted to Facebook, so it would have been nice if they had noted that they were closing early to save us the trip. Terribly disappointing.

We bake fresh every morning, we try to gage it but there is no barometer... If we didn't sell them we would have old cupcakes like others sell. I'm sorry for your inconvenience. Had you called I would have held it or treated to one for your inconvenience.
I went with my granddaughter and we absolutely loved all the flavors specially the flourless chocolate with almonds and sea salt, triple Belgian chocolate, chestnut chocolate ganache and s'mores!! I'm placing a huge order for my office party.
