Great staff and beer from all around the US. Right in downtown with food trucks on Fridays and Saturdays when it gets warmer.
I seriously have no idea why this place has 5 stars. I’m so confused. The food was either over salted or had no flavor and I like my salt. Super disappointed. We thought everything was going to taste amazing, but everything tasted cheap, and my lollipop pork dish seriously tasted so gross ! Ps Their créeme brûlée tasted like expensive pudding. Their rice had a rice pudding taste and it came with our steak? To be honest I can go on, which is sad :/
They supported our donations event for winter gear for the homeless and bought us pizza because the food truck cancelled last minute. They are supportive to the community and just great people.
A ton of good beers on tap
They have super friendly staff and perfect Fairbanks decor. Love the selection of beers and we just feel so comfortable when we’re there.
Great spot that we frequented while in town at the tail end of our Alaska cruise tour. Bartenders were very friendly and provided local knowledge of the area for things to do. Great selection of beer on tap from around the area. Very hospitable while we had a couple of hours to kill before leaving town so we had a pizza delivered and hung out watching baseball games. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good beer in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere.
Its the best bar we have found in the downtown area
Huge selection. Local food vendor out front. Relaxed place. Open on the 4th of July. Had way more fun hanging out at Lavelle’s than with all the grumpy people at the hotel because many local businesses were closed to be with family on the 4th. If we are ever back this way, would go back in a heartbeat.
