Lavastone is NOT professional. They came to our house, measured fireplace and told us a specific insert would work without a kit. Several issues including poor cutting of metal frame kit. They left an extremely jagged edge. Their "professional" wanted to shave bricks off our fireplace because he mis-measured. The main thing to be aware of is you have to have a certified installer in order to have an active warranty with Buckstove which we weren't aware of until they did the installation.
