I had my hair done and was left with a poor color job and choppy haircut. Went back for a re-do and the haircut is still bad. It looks like I no longer have the most of the spots on my head from the first appointment but it missed the mark of the inspiration photo by a mile. The result is still disappointing. Uneven color and awful layers. Overall pretty upset as I have spent a lot of money and time and I am now wishing I just wouldn't have gotten my hair done at all.
I recently went to Lava Salon, Sky Mills is wonderful! I highly recommend this salon! The space is clean, efficient and fun to be in. Everyone is very professional and nice. Reasonably priced. Sky is knowledgeable, professional and really good at what she does! I have finally found a hairdresser that I will go to again! If you haven’t already been, you should definitely call and make an appointment!!!
I just had the most incredible experience at Lava’s Park Circle location. I got a curly cut with Mallory, and I honestly cannot express how exceptional she is. I’ve been struggling to find a stylist whom I trust and who knows (and honors!) curly hair. Mallory. Is. It. She started cutting my hair dry so she could really see my curls in action. I cannot put into words how much I love this salon! The vibe is so cool, all of the stylists are welcoming and so down to earth, and every time I go, I leave so much better than when I came in! Zoe is INCREDIBLE and always does the best work, she really listens to what I want and makes it happen, I fully trust her judgement. She’s also phenomenal with curly hair and will help you on your journey if you need advice! I cannot recommend Lava Salon more!
The salon theming is super fun, the wash stations are comfortable, and the staff is knowledgeable. I love my stylist, Mallory. Her eye for color is incredible! Geoff the owner is a fun guy who also cuts my husband's hair - he does great work too! They are always training, always keeping current, always FUN.
