crazy bartender – regarding angelsurta's post, i am a regular at the lava lounge and i would have assumed that she was overreacting if i hadn't seen the whole thing happen. SHOVED AND SCREAMED AT BY AGGRESSIVE BARTENDERS!!! SERVING DRINKS WITH GLASS SHARDS!! – I am a female who attended this bar and my friend was served a beer with a SHARD of GLASS in it. Regular for over 13 years! – I have been coming to this bar for over 13 years regularly. It's just a few doors down from work so often later at night. Love the bar staff, friendly crowd, pet friendly, HOEGAARDEN on tap, & that crazy-ass DJ Jerry! I am and allways will be a regular as long as that building stands!
Good Drinks!! – I've been going to the Lava Lounge for about 2yrs now and I like it. The bartenders are all pretty AWESOME and the drinks are reasonably priced for Bell Town. I do believe I like going there more during the day and early night before all the crap-heads and ditsy girls come out from their condos and such. PAC MAN TABLE – Great place if you are in the mood to booze and play games - watch out for bad music though. One of our late nights there the bartender tried to kick everyone out by playing old sesame street songs - too bad we were drunk enough to enjoy it!
Fun and funky dive – Yeah, its crowded and sometimes its hard to find a place to sit but they do make good drinks that are reasonably priced. Plus they have shuffle-board! I think that its a fun place to hang out and if you don't like it then you can go 25 feet in any direction on the street and find something else!
Angelsutra is out of her mind. – When you are too drunk and acting like an a**hole and you are asked to leave the bar, please just leave.
loud crowd, rude bar – I've tried to like this place, as one of the last "dives" in Belltown, but can't do it...the jukebox is lame, the crowd is pretty rude, and it is impossible to get a drink. There are so many other places to go, so I do. I would recommend you do, too.
