Went the first time for my birthday we had one of the best dinners I've had the atmosphere, service,and the meal were top of the chart and if you do go there Stacy is a wonderful service person her knowledge of food and wine and her pleasant smile and great personality help to make an evening a special one to enjoy
The atmosphere is that of a place which encourages guests to relax, take their times, and enjoy. The food is carefully prepared and served with the same attention to details. Great food along with a large wine selection says enough about the restaraunt...MUST TRY!!
Not that Good Any More The food and service is not that of fine dining experience anymore. My family used to live in Charleston until 2001 and often dined at Laury's. We loved it then. My husband and I went recently on a Saturday evening and the service was just okay - the server told us the specials before we even had menus. The hostess looked as if she were dressed for a casual party, not a nice restaurant. The food was just okay. The salad dressing was way too vinegary. Very elegant The food is great the setting is very elegant the service is excellent, If you are looking for a upscale place to dine then you should try Laury's you won't be disappointed.
The best of Charleston The elegant atmosphere and divine food along with the gracious hospitality of its owners and superb skill of the head chef, makes this gorgeous Continental restaurant an experience not to miss.
The Best of Fine Dining This is a small restaurant with excellent food. Reservations are required. The wine list is very good. The waiter always offers marvelous suggestions for both wine and food. I've never chosen anything from the menu that was not excellent, and there is minimum of waiting for the food. Once I asked for a doggy bag, and they brought the left overs wrapped like a swan. I thought that was a very impressive small touch, and it is an example of how they have perfected every little detail.
