(12/2/22) My close friends have all agreed that this woman should be reported for bias behavior and gaslighting during a family therapy session. Every teenager struggling with depression should stray away from her especially if they struggle with depression. She focuses on working a full-time job or going to school so if you feel that you cannot do either of those (if your depression is debilitating but not enough to go to the hospital) - DO NOT GO TO HER! Laurie is a compassionate and supportive therapist. She has guided me through complex parenting challenges. She asks challenging questions that help me dig deeper on issues and lead me to the most positive outcomes possible given the circumstances. I am so grateful for her support and her strong therapeutic skills.
Laurie is terrific. I consulted with her when my son was facing challenges in middle school and was really pleased with the direction she suggested for helping him through this difficult phase. He's now in high school and doing very well. Laurie's guidance was a key component of getting us to this better place.
