This was my first visit with her. She saw me right on time. She spent 30 minutes with me, explained things, showed me what cancer looks like, she examined my whole body from between my toes to the top of my head. The office isn’t much to look at, receptionist is OK, but it’s worth your time.
She noticed a small very pale spot that she 'just didn't like the look of' on my knee. I had this spot for years. But 'just to make sure' she did a biopsy. It turned out to be melanoma. I was subsequently treated at Fox Chase for it's removal, but had she not 'made sure', and the spot didn't present like most melanomas, who knows how long that cancer would have grown.
Able to get appointment, very thorough
I have been seeing the dr for years. I recently took my daughter to be seen and while waiting in her waiting room I overheard the receptionist on a personal phone call. She was talking about the overweight person who just walked in with her daughter. After thinking it through I marched myself back to speak to the dr. The staff person refused to get a message to the doctor and would not refill a maintenance medication because I was not seen during the year of the pandemic. The staff person's manner and tone were nothing less than NASTY. Too bad Dr. Kolber has such horrible office staff. Hopefully, she looks at the reviews for all the clients lost - my husband, my son, and I have joined them all in finding a new dermatologist!
Didn't see the doctor but the receptionist on the phone was horrible. Rude!
I ve been there many times with my children. Thorough and informative.
The woman at the desk asked for my insurance card and I started filling out paperwork. She asked if I got a referral which I completely forgot! Rudely: "Well, you need one" and handed the card back. I tried calling for the referral, but the office wasn't open yet. The woman said “Okay well you’ll need to reschedule,” and that was that. I waited a month for this app. to address a problem as well as drove 25 min from my house simply because a dr recommended them. Waste of time. Will not reschedule
I've been her patient for the last 7 years. She is a real 5 star doctor. What else can i say?
