This was the most disturbing office visit I experienced in all the years I've been going to UH. I was there for a followup on a lung scan. I was trying to share my concerns because of my brother's journey who is now going through a second round of treatment now that his cancer has spread to his bones. She was very insensitive and really didn't want to hear about it. She barely made eye contact and would only reply "ok" in a condescending way. Lauren was absolutely on top of things. I came there after having been suffering asthma issues for over 2 weeks. She was very kind, reassuring and made sure I understood everything. She made several medication changes and ordered a chest x-ray and bloodwork. She was very concerned with helping me control costs too. Every employee at the lab, x-ray and even the volunteer who showed me to pulmonary were friendly and polite. Thanks for a great first experience!
