As a patient, I felt that this referral did not adequately address my concerns. During a time of discomfort, I was not provided with meaningful relief, a clear treatment plan, or patient-centered care. I believe medical professionals have a vital role in listening to patients and collaborating to create thoughtful care plans. Unfortunately, I did not feel that support during this experience. At this time, I will be seeking care elsewhere—where I hope to find both the compassion and treatment I believe every patient deserves.
Dr. Lauren Ibrahim prescribed long term antibiotics, which created Ototoxicity, and left me with a permanent disability. Bilateral Vestebular Loss. Dr. Ibrahim never warned me of toxicity of gentamicin, and left that out of her medical report.
