My friends and I checked out the new Jigsaw room because we are huge fans of the SAW franchise and we were extremely disappointed. We liked how the rooms started and the idea of racing against our friends but once we got in, it was all down hill from there. All of the clues were basically in a binder and left nothing to the imagination and didn't test our brains. Most of the locks were broken or malfunctioned and we needed help several times to fix a jam. The rooms were full of empty boxes and one would think they had locks ... read more
It's like you are in the movie but it is a haunted house show that you can't find no where lese and the music so scarey it will live you lost the words actors and I know that we put gusset in the movie but it is a haunted house walk through the hole building and the game's have a clock that once the game starts you have to beat the clock or the game is over there are actors in the first 3 game 4 game no actor can so 2018Halfway to Halloween it's all most about the that time again
Our group had a great time and the host was very entertaining! The rooms were well done and challenging.
Was able to join a group as a walk-on but recommend reserving online. Did the Escape the Movies room. The clues were challenging and fun up until some late comers joined the group and the fun factor went downhill from there. Was disappointed that they were allowed to join after we were 15 minutes into the game. Would have liked if they explained the challenges in more depth so don't expect it. All they will say is clues are all around you. Will definitely do it again but with ppl I know.
I visited this event twice. I really had a great time. This exhibit packs a whole lot of content into a pretty small space. I especially liked the evil church and the creepy village square. The actors are a lot of fun too.
My friends and I go to quite a few haunted houses. We've done them in Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and here at home in Maryland. We went to Laurels House of Horror last night (my first visit, their second). Overall it was very well done; the sets and scareactors were very, very good. A few slight nitpicks I had were that there was quite a bit of strobe lighting (I think dimmer candlesque lights would have amped up the tension, as it was too bright to be startled in multiple places), and the overall length wasn't that lo... read more
