Update: A Luxer One package system has been installed and it has greatly improved the building. Packages no longer get piled in the lobby or lost in the alleyway behind the management building. Comments below are still applicable. I currently live in Wilson Park Tower: This building has very poor insulation so you can very clearly hear even the faintest sounds from neighboring units. When my neighbor has his TV on at a reasonable volume, I can hear it from my bedroom as I'm trying to sleep. Same with phone calls and music. I... read more
I moved in a few months ago and have really enjoyed living here. The leasing staff are incredibly friendly and an excellent source of information, which made moving in and getting settled much easier. One of the things I appreciate most is how clean the entire building is — the cleaning staff puts in a lot of effort everyday, and it really shows. Everyone has been genuinely friendly. Great management team and amenities (hot tube, 2 pools, 2 large gyms, 2 rooftops). The apartments are variable in terms of how renovated they are but I love mine at Laurel Curve! Great bike paths nearby and very large dog park. Everyone has been responsive and quick to fix things. I can see why many residents stay here for years
Overpriced, AC is advertised but it either half works or breaks down on the hottest days of the summer. Heating is similar, either live in the cold or live in a sauna because there is no temperature control. That means you can’t really leave your hvac running when you leave for extended periods or while you’re sleeping. The temperatures can vary depending in which room you are in.
