Moved in almost 6 months ago and absolutely love this location/place. While some reviews look alarming I have had no major issues whatsoever. I had a few maintenance problems early on, but they were fixed within 12hrs. AC/Heat is controlled by the building, however, opening a window or turning the fan off eliminates the issue of getting upset based on the climate imo. The only negative I would say is that the Wilson Park Tower gym is a bit dated (needs updating) and often has machines that are not working or need repairs. Ho... read more
I currently live in Wilson Park Tower. While the unit itself is quite nice, I can't recommend living in this particular building. This building has very poor insulation, so you can very clearly hear even the faintest sounds from neighboring units and those directly above you. The AC is also controlled by one large central system that the property turns off for half the year, so you will be unable to cool your apartment when it gets warm in late fall and early spring. I have been crafting this review for 6+ months because I posted a review once and the next day they came to my apartment “for a water leak” and gave me an infraction. (Never happened before I wrote the review and I lived there for a year and a half). If you are thinking about living here PLEASE READ THIS! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Was okay. During the one year I lived there the amenities were closed half of the time, and there was constant construction right outside my window. Rent was very high for a one bedroom apartment. When I moved in there was carpet damage and other miscellaneous damage and uncleanliness. I took photos of the carpet and spoke with management over the phone multiple times.
