I went to Laurel oaks when I was 12 or 13 because I had huge struggles managing my ADHD and autism the staff was amazing I am currently 16 in high school and I will never stop thinking about y'all you guys are amazing you made life growing up with ADHD and autism not that bad and that some people are different thank you guys so much for everything you do I will never forget you guys kindness towards me thank you
I was there when I was 13 I am 17 now it helped a lot it was the best mental health treatment I ever got. They helped and cared shout out to the staff when I was there.
I went there for an entire year, (march 1st, 2024-march 5th, 2025.), being around kids who fought with me for no reason and jumped me and each other, argued all the time, and threatened over the littlest things. All because I kept self harming because of the fights, but refused to get me away from the almost everyday fights, so I slept harmed, staff complained that I did it, and did nothing half the time. So they kept me there, claiming I was 'mentally unstable' because of the self harm, but they did nothing to help with it.... read more
