I was in this facility about 10 years ago when I was 15 years old due to a suicide attempt and i stayed about 14 days. The care there was absolutely horrible all we did everyday was get up eat, sit in this “group” room, eat lunch, go back to the group room, then dinner them back to our bedroom with a roommate. My great grand sons was a consumer at Laural Oaks recently. This facility is absolutely horrible. Kids faught constantly for the whole 10 days he was there. We took his medication with us and when we left, they return no medication‘s even though they were his personal meds. These medications were suppose to be returned to the consumer. This is against the law I work with mental health services in another area and we do not treat our consumers this way. I did not expect this to be the way he would be treated. I wouldn’t refer anyone’s kids to this place. Your kids are not safe and they are very unprofessional. My kid was attacked twice within thirty minutes. Not a safe place at all.
My child has been here 24 hours was jumped by 8 girls had her eye swelled and her glasses broken not only and I pressing charges on those children and the one who struck her I'm suing the facility! Y'all did not keep my child safe and I do not appreciate it at all! I will update with pictures the reviews were absolutely right!
