Great pool for all ages. The pool has concessions. Outside of the pool facility there is lots of open green space and several playgrounds.

I am disappointed with my experience at the public pool today. My son has been measured at 48 inches and was permitted to use the water slides last week without issue. Today, the manager measured my son and repeatedly pushed down on the top of his head while measuring him, then informed me he was "a half inch too short." Height is an objective measurement, not a subjective one. After leaving, I took my son to another local pool where he again measured at 48 inches. I had a very disappointing experience with the admissions staff at Laurel Oak Pool. My issue began when my membership pass would not work, and I was charged for admission even though I had an active membership. While it was frustrating, I understand that system errors can happen, and I was not upset about the charge itself. What bothered me was the way the situation was handled.
