The Laurel Mountain Inn is a restaurant that has held a special place in my heart for years. I went here all the time in high school nearly 20 years ago, and even today they're still going strong. The place was slammed busy since we got there right as the church crowd hit, but they still gave fast and friendly service. We had chili and fried mushrooms and both were delicious as ever. The pies were good, but I still miss when old Jack used to make them.
