Laurel Heights is a wonderful community with beautiful houses, friendly neighbors, and a prime location close to hiking trails, stores, and the 52. This location is absolutely perfect as it is nestled at the base of Cowles mountain but yet 20 min drive to La Jolla. As such the air here is slightly cooler than posted inland temperatures. The home itself has superior insulation and it retains a cooler temp inside even when the outside temperature is in the mid 90s. We can walk to the mission trails trail heads within 10 minutes and all the shopping you could ask for is 6 minutes down the road. For 3 bed / 2.5 bath and 1600-1800 sqft home these are an insane value!
So far we have been happy with our new home and the community. We enjoy walking to Mission trails park nearby, and everything has gone well. With the San Diego real estate market I think buying new makes a lot of sense right now, buying process was fairly easy. The builder and their lender worked to make everything smooth. Home has some nice features, and we got to customize a few things along the way.
This is a beautiful community. Darcy in the sales office has been very helpful and kind to me. The neighbors are great people and the workers have been very helpful and friendly.
